Working Fire on Bowers Street

Just before 1800 hours on July 21, 2008 Engine 4, Engine 2, Engine 1 and Ladder 2 along with Deputy Allison and the Safety Officer responded to a reported building fire on Bowers Street. Working Fire on Lincoln Ave

On Monday August 4, 2008 shortly after 1400 hours Nashua Fire Alarm received calls for a reported building fire on Lincoln Avenue. Dispatched to the fire was Engine 2, Engine 1, Engine 3 and Ladder 2 along with Deputy Allison and the Safety Officer. MDA Boot Drive Held for Jerry's Kids

With Labor Day fast approaching, Local 789 once again held a Fill-the-Boot Drive for Jerry's kids. On Saturday August 23th several members of Local 789 were at the intersection of Main Street and Kinsley Street with their boots collecting donations that will be donated to Jerry Lewis's MDA Telethon on Labor Day weekend 2008. In the past 12 months over $10,000 has been raised. . A special thanks for all those that gave of their valuable time on a beautiful summer morning to help this great cause as well as Lt Rick Conway for organizing the event once again.

Honor Guard Returns to Fenway Park!

The Nashua Fire Rescue Honor Guard presented our nations colors prior to the World Champion Boston Red Sox playing host to the New York Yankees on July 25, 2008. This was the second year that the Nashua Fire Rescue Honor Guard was invited to participate in this pre-game ceremony. The Red Sox suffered a tough 1-0 loss to the Yankees. A special thank you to the Boston Red Sox for allowing Nashua Fire Rescue to participate in this special honor once again.
